When can you start my project?

This depends on how busy I am. Often I can squeeze smaller projects in between the larger ones. But when I’m very busy, you might look at waiting 2 or 3 weeks.

Just call me and I will give you the time lines.

Do we need to meet face-to-face before the project?

Meeting in person is the best way to get a thorough brief. It is good for me to get a feel for your company and how you work.

But if we cannot meet, then we have a range of options like Skype, facetime or by telephone. Working in a virtual environment is no issue for me – I have long years of experience with it.

Who is doing the writing?

It is me, who’s doing the writing. I do not subcontract and like to ensure that all work meets my standards.

What about the design – can you do that too?

I am only concentrating on the writing, but I am working with a graphic designer and a web designer, who is also an SEO specialist. And by the way, I can help you to integrate the right keywords and phrases into your content, but would recommend you work with the SEO specialist to get the technical side covered.

What is the writing and review process?

I am always starting with a personal (or virtual) meeting, during which I am gathering first information.

Then I will start on a first draft and possibly email or call you to ask more questions.

Once the first draft is ready, I will email it to you and ask you for your feedback. We will work through your feedback and agree when your project is ready to go.

How many review cycles will we need?

Generally 2 cycles are sufficient if there is no change of scope.

What happens if I don’t like what you have written?

This has not happened, but if it does, we need to go back to our brief and understand what went wrong and revise.

What do you charge?

I charge on a project basis. Once we have agreed on the scope, I can give you a fixed quote.

I am not charging by the word or the hour, because this can make the quote unpredictable.

One personal meeting is included in the project and I won’t charge telephone/Skype or email communication extra.

If you want more face-to-face meetings, we need to review our project scope.

When do I pay my invoice?

I will send you an invoice for 50% of the fees when I start working on your project. The remaining 50% will be invoiced when I have delivered your copy.
